Plus Andrew, I doubt we will be on the same wavelength when it comes to the sum to play for. [u]You may not be able to lose the money it would take to bring me to the table for a money match. Of course, I'll happily play you - but let be honest now and say I won't do so if it's going to be for peanuts. I have beaten better than you and I have lost to worse than you, and will continue to do so, and therefore, the ''playing for pride'' argument means nowt to me.

Your reply is still awaited Andrew. All you have to do is ask me how much or alternatively as you publically offered me a match - you can publically withdraw your intial request.

I think one of the key factors with money matches is that they are played for money.

Maybe I missed something...

Andy, I'm affriad i have to agree with spence, it's about a money match, you can both give the winnings to charity if you don't need/or want them.
because i can

Been down this road before...No point in trying to bait him. Its decent money or nothing as far as the Power is concerned.

Why not just forget about it and consign it to the 'Things that are never going to happen' folder.

So you are willing to travel the miles and play The Power low stakes then, as that obviously does blow some of the Powers Money Large necessity out of the window.

This is an offer for a money match, hence the request for a new thread in the "Money Matches" forum. Thanks for doing that. Now all that is left is for an agreement from you Andy and an agreement on the amount of money being played for

Assuming you are going to take up the offer of a match Andy, as mentioned above the "loser quits Croydon" is clearly an unrealistic demand. If you are not interested in the money personally and merely want to beat Alex for "bragging rights" what charity would you consider donating your winnings to if you were to beat him?

According to reports this match is going ahead. Dotcom is reportedly practising hard but seems to still want it on his terms..

Yes Dan, this thread was meant to be about me!! I think out of all the replies that were posted (over 30), only one was actually an offer to me!big grin

Thank goodness for PMs and texting.

So when is this money match going to be, and for how much??
