Well done Dan for predicting your own score:
Marc Rowson 3 - 9 Luke Willsher (So long as Luke plays his own game)
Paul Saxton 6 - 6 Lloyd Barnes (Fudging will be the key!!)
Scott Bradwell 5 - 7 Darren Porter (Experience should tell!)
Shane St Romaine 5 - 7 Dan Reeks (Mr Consistent to edge this one!)
Steve Aldridge 0 - 12 Charles Burrows (Well I have to boost my prize fund somehow!)
Well done Hugh for winning the Premier! Maybe we should have a champion V champion match at the presentation next Thursday!

Teach, you mention a champion v champion game, Hughie said you've already asked and he said he would only play it for all the dosh so the balls in your court on that one.

It'll probably start around April/May. Obviously it'll be advertised on here nearer the time anyway, as with this one.
In the meantime, send details of anyone interested in CSL4 to me and I'll start an early provisional list.

Perhaps they believe your prediction of Charles whooping you 12-0 and also that Lloyd playing Paul may somehow be in with a chance of a freak score of 24-0, which would secure him the champion spot !

Well done to everyone who finished in the money, and to steve and hugh for winning their divisions. Was a great night last night, with positions swapping around with every frame played.
Mark, i thought darren finished 3rd on head to head with lloyd.?
Anyway, very good season, very close throughout, right until the end. thoroughly enjoyed it all, big thank you to Mark for organising it all, and i know i'm not the only person who wants CSL4 to start ASAP!

Big thanks to Mark for running this. Congratulations to Hughie, he was a big favourite from the start but he still had to go out and pot the balls. Interesting how the fixtures have worked out with Francois and Rob battling out for 2nd in the one outstanding fixture and Lee and I fighting for 4th last night. In the end I scraped the draw, and I do mean scraped. I was pretty depressed with my lack of consistency over the 9 weeks and even more depressed to discover that I was the oldest one in it.

That's what I'm waiting for confirmation on. It's almost certainly the case but just waiting to check. The table is automatic so doesn't take that into account without 'tweaking' but I'll do that as soon as I know it's definitely the case.

Just like to reiterate what a great job Mark has done, stepped in and have had nothing but good feedback.
It also helps that the players involved are all sound and have embraced the league for what it was originally intended, which was a competitive league amongst friends.
I too thought that drawn players are placed firstly on thier head 2 head records, but upon studying our rulkes which I've dragged from the archives below, it's matches won that count first, so Lloyd finishes ahead of Darren.
http://www.croydo...ead_id=290
It's still in it's infancy, with this only the conclusion of the third season ever, but it really is unlimited with what you could achieve with it.
I think CSL IV will certainly be 3 divisions, maybe even 4.
From small acorns do mighty oaks grow.

The only boring thing about CSL has been your repetitive comments about how boring you think it is. If that's the case, why do you bother reading the threads every week.
As has been said to you before, Alex, if it's so 'Z list' as you put it, why not join CSL4 in March for some easy prize money and a certain trophy?
In short, put up or shut up, you're boring us now.

In defence of the Power, I'm sure he has already stated that he would enter this competition if he lived a lot closer to the Croydon area.
In defence of the league, I have thoroughly enjoyed winning Division 1! No seriously, Mark has done a great job putting this together, and I'm sure that all of the guys who took part, would say that this league has made them better players in some way!
I agree that if we are going to post predictions each week, then we should have the balls to post our own! I predicted I'd lose 12-0 to Charles, and at 4-0 down I was starting to get a few glares from those chasing Charles' position of 2nd place. So I thought it was time to reel off 6 frames in a row - and then settle for 6-6! What a fair guy I am!
Anyway, I'm looking forward to the next one - I think it will be bigger (not sure Rileys could cope with 4 divisions on one night though!)
And to the Power - carry on with your threads cos i find them pretty amusing! You are the 'stirring' Coolio of this website!!

Mr Stallard, give you a little opportunity to drop down to my level of posting and you duly take it. Shame on you CSL tournament organiser for your scathing attack. Its hardly a friendly and inviting advert for those considering entering next time around.....
For the record, I never said anyone was 'Z' List. And its disappointing that you clearly feel comfortable catorgising yourself with such a high rating!
Maybe it's upset you that I got the pre-CSL 3 predictions spot on? I was only trying to enter into the spirit of things as I have done on a random basis throughout your season. Lets face it, apart from the usual suspects predicting everyone else's results, and spairing us the excitement of not predicting their own match results what other banter apart from my occasional post has there been?

That's finalised the Division One table anyway.
The remaining match for the Premier between Rob and Francois is apparently being played Wednesday night, so all will be in place for the Presentation on Thursday, including the Plate event for the bottom 6 of each division.
For the top 4 of each division, I'll also be doing a simple 8 man knockout, ?5 entry, drawn on the night.

It's 3 up, 3 down.
We've discussed the possibilities for CSL4 and come to the conclusion that, assuming everyone re-enters, Premier and Div.1 promotions and relegations will stand and any new entrants will have to come up through the ranks and not be 'slotted in' at the expense of someone who has earned their place during CSL3.
