We appear to be unable to raise a team on any night other than a Tuesday due to people having to work. Presumably we will be kicked out of the competition?

If the suzys can"t raise a team, would the beechtree get a 10-0, result be void or they take there average result. The result will affect our group because they are 10 points behind us with us playng them in a few weeks. Who decides?

Im sure Mark will clarify but I believe an average result will apply
A walkover cannot be claimed if there was communication and agreement to postpone the match in the first place

Just out of curiousity, what constitutes an average result. A draw? considering we've already had three draws in the group.

Just to say I'm still very much hoping we can play this match. I will be speaking to my team tomorrow night to establish if it is at all possible for us to raise a team any other night this week.

Goodfellas 7 - Magnum Force 3
A good result for us in a match which could have been much closer but for a few mistakes from both sides.

Well done to the Goodfellas, glad we gifted it to such a nice bunch of chaps. We didn't show up at all (except some Miggins bloke) and you deserved the win.

If you could not turn up tonight and next week that would be much appreciated too! ;)

From Group 3 of the League Cup
Beachtree 6 - 4 Suzies Floozies;)
Good win, both teams played some solid pool, and we certainly run our luck a bit last night. Snuck two wins without potting the black.

Think that puts us 4 points behind the Jolly who we play next week

I don't think you guys were particularly lucky - you played well. I'd say I was unlucky not to get one of my frames but that's the way it goes and looking back I would have only played one shot differently. I've never seen a ball stop on a pocket jaw like the black in the second frame did - freaky!!

I watched this match and Sass was hugely unlucky not to win BOTH of her games, nevermind one.
I was quite impressed with the standard of the two (division 4 and 5) teams. It was a bit weird for me to be at a match without a cue or a game to play, but I enjoyed it all the same.
The Beachtree can be proud of that win - even though it was against a bunch of girls :D ;)

Farley Eden 7-3 Flying Machine
Played last night in what was a must win match for both teams chasing the 2nd qualifying spot. Not much quality pool on display and we edged the scrappy frames when it mattered.

Group 1 Result from last night:
Eagles 8
Farley Untouchables 2
Bit harsh on the Untouchables, as they had plenty of chances.
