The Warbank 6 v 4 The Cue Masters
Great result for us, as we were 3-0 down within no time. We were then 4-2 down and then knocked in 4 frames excellant frames on the spin and even finished at 9.50pm!! Cash Money!!
There were some run of the ball on some of the frames, but thats pool at the end of the day.
Great bunch of lads and wish the Cue Masters the best for the rest of the season and look forward in seeing you at yours!!

Pond Q's 2 The Patriots 8 A truly abysmal display from us tonight which wasn't helped by the outrageous good fortune enjoyed by our opponents on several occasions. The somewhat laughingly called Patriots who have now closed down more venues than the Eden, will probably win the league if their luck holds out. I'm very relieved that we only have to play them twice !! :P

The Pond are seemingly the single most unlucky sporting outfit ever to walk the face of the earth......FACT

Berty, the Coney Cues must be far more unlucky than us . We are still playing happily together on a regular basis, whereas your outfit no longer exists. What bad luck !!

unpredictables 6 rack pack 4
weirdest game I have ever seen half way through the 4th frame we still had not had a shot. I personall had 1 shot (the break) in two frames and still won 1 out of 2 (Knocky did a great clear up from the break only to pot my yellow after the black). Chatty also potted the black & cue ball after a great clear up. On the whole though the result was fair.

Hotshots 7 - 3 The Jolly
Poor shot selection cost us big time, though the Shots played well all night
Rod and Steve played superb, Keely was unlucky in both Frames and the Secretaries
Cheers Guys, see you at ours

I think you will find The Patriots are still playing out of The Eagle... I also think you will find, you posted over a year ago that The Eden would not be playing out of The Farley much longer... Now we have 2 Farley Edens... Pat, you really got to do your homework a little better... Then you wont have to wipe so much egg off your face...

David, I think you'll find that the Patriots are now playing in the Hurricane Room, not the Eagle(which is about to close). My statement about the Eden folding would have come true long ago, if they hadn't decided to con gullible players from other Farley teams into perpetuating their feeble existence !! To boast about the fact that you have not one but two sides sharing their notorious name is truly surprising . Reducing squad size could lead to unfortunate postponements . Just to be on the safe side, I will have my eggs hard-boiled in future !!

I think you'll find that you're both wrong. Apparently they are playing out of Rileys Purley Way. :P

As much as i love to see "grumpier old men" show the gnashers.
As of Tuesday Patriots "were" going to play from hurricanes, But a few days ago the eagle re-opened and Patriots as i understand took a vote and decided to stay there.

You really couldn't make it up ! The thought processes of some of the retards that populate this league leave a hell of a lot to be desired !! :o

We are like ants Patrick. Tread on one of us and two more will appear.
Your jealous streak towards the mighty Eden is quite alarming Patrick. Since I personally potted that fateful black back in early May that jubliantly sent the Pond Poo's back to the depths of Winter league division 2 pool (where I hasten to add you firmly belong) you have become increasingly obsessive in seeking out a retort to some of my Eden galactico's comments on the site. Surely you have learnt by now my boys are a different gravy on and off the table....

Patrick, I did warn you... The new Farley kids on the block, love it, they feed on it... Let no one question their Loyalty to the Farley or, each other... They hunt in packs so, The Power has made a good point... Slag one off and, two more will appear... Its a Farley thing... Called Loyalty...
