Seamen 3-7 Maple Tree

We've been on form lately, so at 2-0 up, we thought we were looking good, specially as we'd already beaten them in the cup...

At 6-2 down, we were left wondering what went wrong...granted there was good pool played by the Maple, but we weren't gifting them games...in the middle of that was another wrongly potted black (by the same player as last week)...

The Folly 5 - 5 Beechtree

Quality night against Andy and the lads, and another improved display from us. We had the run of the balls in the first half, coupled with some uncharateristic mistakes from the Folly lads meant we were 4-1 up at the break.

Stirring 2nd half fightback from the Folly though, as they brought it level at 4-4, MJ won to put us back up at 5-4 (mention to MJ for his 2/2 :o :lol:) and to be honest I should have brought us home but blew a routine 6-ball dish after over-running the last red:|

So the Folly remain unbeaten in the league season, but thats the first time we've actually played them and not got beat, so thats a positive. Cheers guys, and good luck for the rest of the season. Quality Sheps Pie and Chips last night too.

Enjoyable evening and a good win for us. We we certainly rode our luck in a number of frames. 6 -4 would have been a fairer result.
