The Farley Loyalists 6 - 4 The Farley Dukes,

Was never gonna be an easy game, we went 0-2 down, and was looking grim with a simple roll in black for 0-3 to the Dukes,...miss! Christ! Glimmer of hope for a frame on the board. 1-2. Upsteps JM, master cue-man that he is, made it hard work, but nicked the frame off Martin. 2-2. Our winter sec plays Banman in the last game of the first half, NEVER leave that man a double, even lengh ways!! 2-3. First game of the second set, here comes Mark again, this time its in-off the black after potting it in the centre, 4-2. The Dukes came back to 4-4, but JM & Micheal sealed the win for us.
There was little banter between teams, proberly due to the importance of the game, a few sore points, but lets not dwell on those, and of course now a 9 frame gap over them. Well done to all last nite, it was a tough one.

Regards
Rainbow

Well played the Loyalists, now comfortably heading to the title. Have to be honest and say from our viewpoint we could and probably should have won 7-3, with 3 frames (my 2nd included) where we shot ourselves in the feet. That said, was a good match, was only aware of 1 minor 'sore point' which we discussed so if there were others let me know when I see you please Paul.

Congrats once again to the Loyalists, well played.

Nothing really Grant, just being a bit over sensitive. Look forward to a beer and game next time in the pub.
