Early this morning Ted Barber passed away.
Ted was an active member of the recently closed Manor social club, South Norwood for several years.
As well as being secretary of The Manor team for a number of years, Ted also helped organise and ensure the smooth running of both presentation nights and league meetings at the club.
I am sure the other players in CDPL would like to join myself and the rest of the committee in expressing our condolences to Nicola Barber and all of Ted's family.

My condolences too...Ted was a stalwart of the league for many years, and always had a smile and a friendly greeting for all...he will be missed...

Ted's funeral will be held at the Croydon Crematorium at 2:15 on Tuesday 16th November

paul i think as a mark of respect we all hold a minutes silence on tuesday b4 we play our matches ....
ted will b missed our thoughts go out to the barber family...
