Introduction

Croydon Rileys Sunday League is a joint singles and team league for all casual club and local amateur league players. It is designed to be a friendly league with a competitive edge and provides a flexible league set-up where players play for both team and individual points

League Format

? Players required:
o 16 (4 teams of 4 players) ? minimum number
o 24 (6 teams of 4 players)
o 32 (8 teams of 4 players)

o Similar to Formula 1 where drivers compete for individual points and constructors championship points

? Individual matches are best of 3 (unless otherwise agreed)

? Individuals will be given 2 points for a match win which will count towards the ?Player Championships? only

? Each team result will be made up of the 4 individual match results for that team with each individual match win representing 1 leg
o So results could be either 4-0, 3-1, 2-2 or vica-versa.

? Teams will be given 2 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, 1 bonus point for a 4-nil victory which will count towards the ?Team Championships? only

? Individual players may re-arrange a maximum of 3 fixtures but these must be played before their scheduled fixture date.

? Any matches not played before their scheduled fixture date will be conceded, therefore a team result must be produced on the scheduled fixture date
