Mark Rowson/Mick Saunders 3-2 Richard Beard/Ben McCabe
A match with many twists and turns...the two most notable being in frames 2 and 5. The View boys potted the black in frame 2, only to go in off, to make the scores level....in the deciding frame, the view boys DF'd, giving the Rack Pack a chance to clear up....however, first shot was also a foul handing the opportunity straight back....a good clearance followed until the last red...the double played as a lay-up shot unfortunately went in, leaving a snooker on the black...one foul, and two visits later, the Rack Pack boys closed out the match....
