Pond Q's 2 Eagles 8
We were robbed. The better side lost this match. I cannot say too much more as I have an urgent appointment to keep at Specsavers. A very enjoyable evening with some great characters in opposition. It will be nice to actually beat them one day. I am sure that it will happen soon. Goodnight,God bless !!

Like many of our matches this year not a great deal of quality on show, and loads of frames were scrappy. We could have won the two we lost and could have lost many of the 8 we won. Nice to Danneau showing he hasn;t lost his flair for trick shots.

All in all, we will take that thnk you very much indeed.

On paper it looks like a close finish to the season, The Eagles are on 123 and lead the Prop by 2. But then you look at the fixtures and in the last week the Eagles have their bye (10-0) and the Prop have their average win v Jolly (6-4), which means the Eagles are effectively 6 ahead of the Prop with 2 games left.
And then you look at the Unpredicatables and it descends into farce. They get their 6-4 win v Jolly next, followed by their 10-0 bye win and on the final day they are home to the Hot Shots. This would be the Hot Shots last ever game but how many of them are going to travel all the way to Coulsdon?

Indeed Mr Shanks. We worked out we needed around 17 points from 3 actual games. That was on the basis that Unpreds got 15 of the 20 available before last night. Also on the basis that the Prop had the Cue Masters and this was liekly to be a close match either way.

It is a real shame that the Jolly dropped out of the league when they did . It looks like RIP,sorry RRP are going to be relegated purely and simply because they are the biggest and the worst team left in the division. By sheer coincidence, they are our next opponents. I know about half of their team and I'm looking forward to meeting the other 35 players before the trapdoor opens ! Could they really win the League Cup and be relegated in the same season ? NO

With all the conusion and taking into account the Bye and Jolly results the table will be thus:-

Eagles 20 133 (Rileys Snooker/Patriots)
Unpreds 21 133 (Hot Shots)
Prop 20 127 (Forum/Cue Masters)
Patriots 19 113 (Eagles/RRP/Forum A)
Cue M's 19 112 (Hotshots/Prop/Pond Q's)

Conclusion. Unless the Prop go mental we need 10 or so points to win the league.
