Peter Brooks has asked me to thank everyone who was there on Saturday for all the love that they showed him. He is really grateful. He couldn't believe how many people came up and hugged him...I think he finally realises how much love he has around the league!!!!

bloody right too. He is within a handful of people that deserve peoples complete attention with his dedication to the league and his family. Truly lovely bloke and glad he got the respect he deserved in what i thought was a great night. It was the most boisterous night in years. I for one thoroughly enjoyed it.
