Legion 1-9 Cuemasters

Legion only had 4 tonight. They probably should have won a couple more but we took our chances well.

Honours even in the Eagles - Prop match.

Prop with chances to nick it will feel an oppurtunity lost, but we stuck in there well.

Done better than the Eagles on the TV anyways. . .

Forum 4 - 6 Warbank

Strange night didn't know whether to concentrate on football matters or pool, being a loser in both it really was not a good night on a personal note.

Unlucky to the Forum lads they really are a nice bunch of fella's.

Goodluck for the rest of the season ;)

There is a brand new documentary coming to our screens soon. It will be called "Life in the Freezer trying to play pool". David Attenborough has agreed to introduce the programme following his success in the South Pole. Apparently Rileys in Lewisham has been selected as the perfect environment because the average temperature is barely above freezing point. Some of the tables have even turned blue. It was hoped that the retailer Iceland would sponsor the programme, but they declined saying that the venue was far too cold to consider . Any players who have to travel to this extreme "border" of Croydon be warned ! Wrap up well !! There's no bloody heating !!

What you mean you actually supported your team and made it to a match for a change !

Yes it's another downfall to the success story of S E London. On a brighter note, atleast it's surrounded by buildings and can absorb heat from it's neighbours and for free I may add. Unlike Purley way.
Shame you was'nt there on Monday just gone. There was no heating on there either and a complete icebox. I mean how are people supposed to try and compete under those conditions. And being out in the middle of nowhere and far more opened to the elements, I sure you would have found this one a lot colder. It must say something when you see a lot of the audience there all standing huddled together under the one heat sorce. Oh yes, that's the overhead heater by the front door when you enter suggesting that it's a warm enviornment beyond.
I think from a temperature point of view, I'd pick Lewisham (London Borough of Croydon) every time.

Wizards 2-8 south east massive

Second time we've played the better halfs in quick succession and they delivered both times. Not many weak links there. Well played

Personally I'm always too hot in Rileys Purley Way, but at least when you're cold you can wrap up warm. Is it just me that finds the name Frosties a bit ironic though?

Oh, and just for the record The London Borough of Lewisham doesn't even border Croydon!
