A very enjoyable evening despite the final result. We got off to a very good start but couldn't keep it up. Many of the games could have gone either way,but that is nearly always the case. Overall our opponents were very worthy winners. Good Luck to Mick and the boys in their Summer venture. Look forward to meeting them again next Winter league. :clap:

yes pat i very enjoyable night,after going 4 1 down in the first set we were thinking the worst but managed to put a run together which always helps.all in all a good match played in good spirts,finally a special mention to dave and betty for the food that was provided,too notch.:clap:

fair play to the pond they played sum gr8 pool n could ov quiet easily cum out on top but cup finals bein cup finals a few games didnt go the way they wer lookin...good to c sum ov the so called lesser players playing like giants n making it a gr8 TEAM final from both sets ov players...i sumhow nickd the final frame to giv us the win which woza buzz as id been outplayed...wel done to every1 involved in the comp making it such a gr8 event n a good advert for croydon pool n I C COOL :angel:

Commiserations Pond - A truly mighty effort getting to the final and so very nearly pulling it off, Pat and the lads can be very proud with that achievement.

Then onto the winners.... Huge congratulations for Mick and the lads, for not just winning, but retaining the League Cup, which is such a difficult comp to win once those later stages start up.

Both teams a credit to our league. Well done X
