Not the best of nights, but I'm not blaming the home team. The table was suffering the after effects of too many Christmas sherries, despite Alan Comber and Clive Taylors best efforts to sober it up...and the venue decided to hold a 40th birthday party, without warning the home team, resulting in kids running round the table at various intervals...
As for the match itself, we scrapped hard, but the best team won...maybe one more frame would have been a fairer reflection of our efforts, but no more than that...
