Jolly Sailor 6-5 Penge Con Boys
Another bad night at the office...having won 10-1 at home (and the 1 was an in-off on the black), we were confident of another big win...
3-0 up, having pinched a frame, all was going to plan...4th frame...straight black to middle, cue ball under cush...I hit cush first, black doesn't reach pocket...3-0 suddenly becomes 3-3....Lady Luck has chosen her side, and it is not us...
The second half saw at least two large slices of good fortune go to the Sailor team, to help them to the win...
No disrespect to the Sailor team...they scrapped...you can't benefit from luck if you are not trying to win, and they were trying to win...
At the start of the season, the ambition was to survive....we have done more than that so far....maybe this was a reality check to remind us against complacency...we will keep on fighting....
Good luck to the Sailor...if they play like that for the rest of the season, they should avoid relegation...

Beechtree Boshers 11-0 Rileys Misfits
Um yeah the scoreline is correct, we played brilliantly at times and the times we weren't quite on it, our opponents let us off the hook :) Was one of these freak results you get in a season, we've had enough against us this season, so it was nice to be able to have a great result
Started slowly with Dave R taking out the black, followed by a 7-ball clearance in game 2. 7-ball clearance in game 5. Second half we switched the order a little, 7-ball clearance in game 8, few tactical games we scraped for, and ultimately game 11 was a good finish from our boys too :D:
Good luck to the Misfits, scoreline didn't justify the match yesterday. Top bunch of lads :handshake:

Good result for us with a majorly weakened team and from a 4-4 scoreline.
Massive win for the beachtree, great result guys! will be interested to see the table, big game next week......
