Beechtree Boshers 6-5 Penge Con Boys
Good match last night and an important win for us :) Last week I bemoaned our bad luck but this week I could do no such thing, we rode our luck all night, missed pots landing safeties, snookers so it does even out over the course of a season, or in our case a week :happy:
Good sportsmanship on behalf of our visitors as we were afforded two of our players playing 1 and 2 and then 6 and 7 as they had to leave so many thanks for that.
The match overall was quite scrappy, lots of missed pots and chances that would by both teams be taken ordinarily, not helped by our slow and rolling table, but at one stage we found ourselves 5-2 up, Penge Cons roared back to 5-4 before Dave S found a finish to get us the win. Man of the match was Mr Shilling with 3/3.
Top bunch of lads the Penge Con Boys with Jason, Steve et all, good luck for the remainder of the season :handshake:

Can't argue with your assessment of the match, Welshy...must also mention the food...a good spread put out, which went down well. If anything there was too much food, and it's not often anyone makes that comment!!!
If the luck turnaround theory holds, we should get it all next week against the Langley Sports...however, I suspect there is more chance of Welshy never wearing flip-flops again!!!:nerner:
