Farley legends 6 v 5 Farley loyalists

What a great game tonight took the first set 3 v 2 then taking the second set 3 v 2 and Leon v billy last game was a tense match which billy took well done to the loyalists :trophyone:

Danny its called winding people up....... And I wouldn't do that mate 100% we pushed them all the way to the last game and a very enjoyable season promoted again and we will see you in a few weeks when the winter starts I want better halfs first game :boxer:

Ok Legends so you have finally broke the losing streak to the Loyalists and I got to say ......... well played boys :clap: ......... respect has to go to both Leon and Billy who contested the outcome of the league in the final frame and what a frame it was by 2 quality players. I had a laugh with Leon during the 10th frame when I was putting my cue away and he was enquiring as to whether i was going to play in frame11 .... a little chuckle from me over that comment and perhaps 30 years ago I might have been in the reckoning but it was always going to be contested by the 2 strongest players from the respective teams and it was a privelege to watch 2 great players play it out .......... Legends, your a great side and good luck in Div.1 for the Winter League and good luck to you also Neil in trying to get back your ?250 that your down to me at the mo in our race to 10 tomorrow evening

Goodfellas 5 - Beechtree Boshers 6

Unfortunately we were up against it from the start, only turning up with 4 players but take nothing away from The Boshers who dished out our first league defeat of the second half of the season. We'd not lost since week 9 when we played The Boshers away!

Also congrats to Craig for a double win in the secretary's and catching me to leave us both on 14 wins!

Must admit even tho we ada gud result tonight I would ov luvd to av been down the farly tonight (the home ov pub pool) avin a beer watching the legends n loyalist battle it out...bet every1 who played must ov felt the pressure n the buzz ov winning a frame if they did...gr8 effort by both teams,wel played n u both showed how gr8 or league stil is with gr8 passion n heart...special wel done to our leader Mr H (no not u neil) who after bein ill not so long ago ada superb season n must ov luvd every minute :angel:

f1 billy one against leon... can't remember much
f2,3,4mr barleycorn lost and so did teach then lee won an emotional frame to make it 2-2....can't work out who played who ...it was a while ago ....would say the strongbows kicking in but to be honest the vodkas have taken control the of the dominate spices in my stomach
then frame 5 ....I think......barry lost to neil
at the end of the set we were 2-3 down
then the profiterole stood up against peter....like dunkirk...gandalf in the rings...and my last driving instructor... I said you shall not pass..3-3 cheers thanks ta
then the legends found the thing they have been doing all 2nd half of the season they beat billy, lee and then mark in a row to leave them 1 frame from season victory

then stood up reigate's finest legend (sorry loyalist) stevy rains and won
at this point i'm a bit mixed up with who played who and am now drinkin one of them pina colada kits

so 4-6 to the legends...each needing a frame.. the whole season down to one frame

Goodfellas 5-6 Beechtree Boshers

As Mark has put above, it was a shame that the Goodfellas only had four players last night but I was happy with the way we played in our last ever match under the "Beechtree" banner :winkgrin:

Was delighted to get Secretary's joint winner too. Think it's back to back wins for us for the first time this season, unless I was drunk that I've forgotten any other back to back wins. :)

Man of the match must go to Rob Cogar, for his treble of wins

Yes Jacko it was buzzing last night and I thought we played awesome last night didn't think it was.....after billy took the first one against Leon, but we pulled through to take both sets 3 2 and then came the last one which billy again beat Leon but all in all great fight back and we have once again proved ourselfs and proved everybody wrong again,and we will do again in div1..... Roll on 3 weeks :clap:

Yes, well played to you Neil and I have no complaints to the result and will concede that you did SMASH me up .... lol although it was a buzz playing a money game again (a bit like the match I had against Terry Jackson and a few others around Surrey many moons ago) it was also a learning curve in that if you don't regularly practise then your really not going to compete in a long frame match but hey ........ it was fun. Good luck to the Legends in the Winter League
