Eagles 7-4 cuemasters
Tough opener for the both of us, would have taken a win before hand as imo they are our closest rivals (along with prop) Im sure they feel a bit hard done by being that they had 2 big kicks that cost them 2 frames but thats pool.

Historically tough game as well. Pretty sure they have beaten us more than anybody else in the league. Very happy with the result, like most games against a team of there class could have been very different. By the way your brother wanted to take me in the stripclub. He must have felt sorry for me not that Gary or mark thought twice. Love having no proper shots in a night.

Don't understand how the tables are so bad as we played the Surrey open on them on Sunday (day after the over 30's disco) and they were all spot on? Played on tables 1.3 and 5 last night and can honestly say I have never played on a straighter table

eagles 7 Cuemasters 4 two massive kicks in the first three frames helped our cause, the Cuemasters are a fantastic team and we would have sold our first born to start the league with such a good result against a great side.(Sean wouldn't)

Table1 tone....makes no sense m8 im aware ov the surrey open tourny so they must ov been sweet for that...I ada knock up with the german b4 singles semi finals n they ad been re clothed n table1 woz the nuts then...they clearly dont giva damn bout our league games to produce sucha pis poor product...u could clearly c the indentations in the carpet where the table woz in dire need ova brush n to b bocked or iron n bloody levelled...twasa sad state

If my memory serves me correctly Neil Hall spent a fair bit of Monday evening practising on table 1 at frames....

Yeah it was a bad night for the Rack Pack.. If the table didnt roll and did roll, and was and wasnt fast and slow then we would have surely finished our chances at 5-2 and possibly won 10-2?!

But what do I know, Apparently I shouldnt of even got a shot last night?! pfft :)

I'll pick you at yours Jacko to try and even up the score :O

Im sure if someone spoke to Frames about either levelling it or changing tables it could have been sorted. The onus clearly lies with the home team, although they are not on here moaning about it. If they were moaning about it during match too then its a sad state of affairs.
We played at Fox's last night and whilst its not the best table in the world, it was straight and a decent pace. Cant ask for more really.

Forum A 5 Pond Wheatsheaf 6

Good start to the new campaign. Quite a few accidental in-offs, but overall just about a fair result. Always a pleasure to play the Forum boys. Very enjoyable evening in their company and being able to watch the mighty Gunners destroy Napoli was the veritable icing on the cake !!

frames sponsor the league n av gr8 tables wen the can b asked to level em brush iron n bock em,but they dont n its a disgrace we let them get away with it,we r there customers n i believe its a lack ov respect for us n our league why they cant b asked to supply wel conditioned tables..pub tables r pub tables n ur gona av sum dodgey 1s but snooker halls r meant to specialise in providing venues for playing pool n snooker, there a disgrace n there mugging us off with there lazy arse attitude....y should we accept this ? n yea itsa massive leveler n yea sum players r obviously happy bout that...if i win a game ov pool i wana play wel n earn that win im fckd if i wana win coz my opponent as been unfortunate enuf to play a foul bcos a ball as rolled off 18ft...tis sad

Jacko I like u and u know I do...but u do chat *******.me and Neil played on my old home table and it was perfect.i heard u played a bad poor shot.plus MeV played on there Sunday and it was perfect.im sure u will come across worse tables in the league mate.....UR *******lol

U don't hear me come on hear moanin but terry u wasn't there. That table was awful last night, even some of there players were moanin about it. A 2 inch roll from middle to corner is not an acceptable table to be playin on. I don't know y it's changed in 48 hours(maybe frames need to be asked that)but I'm sure the rack pack will have a word and get it sorted before there next home game.

Contrary to public opinion, the tables were not perfect on Sunday, they were anything but. They were on the whole however acceptable.

If you rarely brush or iron your tables, and move them on a regular basis, the inevitable result is they are inconsistant.

Add to the fact that whilst Supremes play nice/well/easy (delete as appropriate) they are not a work of carpentry mastercraft, they are pretty much made of balsa wood.

Doesn't help with blokes who should know better putting all kinds of *******on them or parking there asses on the cushions
