Anyone got this or recommend it?
3 do a deal ?15 a month with a 3GB download limit. Can anybody tell me what this means in terms of time for regular surfing?

you should check the coverage first, I was using Vodaphone, unlimited for ?40 a month with very good coverage, was able to send pics from a field in the middle of Cambridgeshire and could get upload speeds of 200 in central london.

I'm sure you know this but 3gb is the data limit and not the download speed. If you go over it the fees are usually punitive. You should check if you will be warned if you are approaching your limit and find out what the additional fees would be.

well if it downloads at 3gigs ill take two - thats faster than a fast thing going quickly with trainers on and a rocket up it.
soon as you touch youtube youll find your download limit has been rogered so it might be best to hold out for a few months until the major service providers get into a price war and everything becomes a fraction of the price it is today. I hear its changing every day so maybe best to hold out as long as you can? Least thats what I'm doing, according to my sources the coverage will be almost doubling over the next few months too.

You could always get yourself an iPhone. They come with unlimited browsing, 600 mins and 300 texts for ?35. I don't think I've paid more than line rental since I got mine. Plus you get access to a load of wi-fi points coverage isn't as important.

The phone is excellent for surfing as well as day to day use. I've had mine for a couple of months and the novelty still hasn't faded. Worth every penny!

What?s the battery life like on the iPhone Spence? I?ve been put off by people saying that if you listen to music for an hour the battery is dead.

The battery lasts about 2 days if you don't use the iPod function. With music it has a similar life to an iPod, so you can drain it in about 5 or 6 hours.

They do recharge REALLY fast so if you have your charger you can get a few more hours (phone only) out of it by plugging it in for 10 mins.
