You get were you are put! You are not good enough to be fussy. By the way they are all being levelled this week for a county game, and I understand a couple are being recovered.

This was all done yesterday , i think the problem with table 8 is its not in the best location.

That's not the full story, Harry, I seem to remember your exact words were "Oh no, I hate table 8, there's no-where to put your pint!"

How the FCUK can I win 8-5 Mr Potterman? Don't that make 13?

Anyway, I'm struggling to make the 8pm start on Thursday - got our Xmas play in the evening (yes I know it's very early).

What's the latest time we could start my game?

That'd be up to your opponent. You might want to send a PM to Dogger to check he's ok for a late one.

Will try to get out of school by 8, so if I jump into a cab will get to Purley Way by half past!

Ok my turn for predictions:

Charles Burrows 5 - 7 Darren Porter
Paul Saxton 8 - 4 Marc Rowson
Scott Bradwell 4 - 8 Luke Wilsher
Shane St Romaine 3 - 9 Lloyd Barnes
Steve Aldridge ? - ? Dan Reeks

I've got to say that Steve Aldridge will piss Div 1 - so thats the only prediction worthwhile.

Likewise, Telford will piss the so called Prem Div. Where have all the players gone? Telford smashed Fran and he was the only player who could potentially trouble him over 10+ weeks. Phil is a player who is great to watch (I'm a big fan of his) as he just goes for everything whatever is in front of him, but thats likely to work against him in the weeks to come. Hope I'm wrong though. Lets face it, 66% of the players in the Prem are classed as 'B' list Croydon pool celebrities!!! Actually, only 3 of them curently ply their weekly trade in Div 1. McDonnell (a player I admire and I've chased to sign for last 2 seasons) is on a comeback - so maybe he'll ping in a few decent results.

Just give Aldridge and Telford the trophies now.

I too am disappointed with the lack of faces in the premier this time around. If it was like that last season I?d still be in the premier myself!

Yes, give Telford his trophy now by all means. But as for the first division, we shall see!

I never normally moan about tables, but when people are constantly walking past, and getting in your view whilst you are lining up a shot, it's very off putting..... Remind me to keep walking past your table on Thursday.

Also, and more importantly, there is nowhere to put your pint!!!!!

Thanks for the vote of confidence, Power!

However, I must agree with Mr Burrows. I believe the 1st division will be a far more competitive league than the premier, and Charles and Lloyd have far better interleague records than I do.

Come to think of it...... everyone has a better interleague record than I do!!:cry:

Some players have moved away, some may not be allowed in the club, others signed up for the Reigate League on Thursday nights because of the delay in organising CSL III. I think Kyle is at college and I don't know why Knocky has dropped out. It was important to get it up and running so that the competition didn't die. Hopefully some of those players will return for CSL IV.

If people like you would get off the sidelines and put their money where their mouth is, then we wouldn't have such a boring, talentless, predictable and obviously second rate premier division.
Since you're obviously better than all of us apart from Hughie...
Come an 'ave a go if you think you're 'ard enough

Was that a nibble or a bite EmDee? :bite:

And I'm not even close to the sidelines as I live 40 odd miles away. If I was still local then I would definately enter.

I suppose it was a bite - I dont understand why we dont have about 5 divisions myself, and I feel anyone who bemoans the quality of the players should be in the comp.

With the chance of winning recognition, money and a trophy up for grabs and 9 weeks of hard fought pool for only ?40 I think the organisers should be getting their arms bitten off.

..although you'll be moaning later when you realise Table 11 also has nowhere to put your pint. Don't worry, you're playing me, so I'm sure we'll sort something out before the match can go ahead.
