Article has been submitted but mine never seem to see the light of day so do let me know if im doing it wrong.

Think you?ve got what it takes to make the grade and earn yourself a place in the Surrey 8-ball Pool Squad for 2009?

We run 3 Mens Teams (A, B & C), a Junior Team (under-18) and a Ladies Team.

A number of our players have earned National trials and gone on to represent England, as well as competing in the recently televised World Championships.

Surrey run one of the best organised County and Interleague set-ups in England, with monthly County games within the Region, as well as Interleague teams that play for honours locally within the Surrey area.

If you are keen, live in Surrey, and have the ambition and drive to move your game forwards, come and put yourself to the test at our Annual Trials in January.

Even if you don?t qualify, we are confident that you will enjoy the experience, it?s a unique opportunity to test your playing ability, at a great day of competitive 8-ball Pool.

County Trials are played to a Swiss System, guaranteeing multiple matches against a number of opponents.

It?s a great days pool, and a chance to really test yourself.

2009 Surrey Squad Trials will be held at Rileys Snooker & Pool Club, 31 Imperial Way, Croydon, Surrey, CR0 4RR.

No there wasn't anyone online there.

I believe Mark Miller qualified just before I left. Harry was still playing. Not sure about anyone else though.

Didnt you have to live in Surrey to go for this?

No. You have to play pool in a Surrey affiliated league.
