Any danger of a forum specific to County?

Surrey County Trials dates have been announced, and anyone interested in attending the open trials in Janurary can register their interest here...

http://www.surrey...om/trials/

Also info on there re. County Format, Code of Conduct etc,.

Altes has qualified through Interleague if he wishes to take up the option, as has Kyle. Cliff Mills and Mark Miller close to qualifiying through their Interleague performance.

Adam Hewson has told me he will be trialling.

Surrey runs a Mens A, B and C team, as well as Juniors and Ladies teams, so there is potential for players of all abilities, ages and genders to represent Surrey in 2008.

As said, full info on the link above.

Hope to see some faces from Croydon there in January :)

Um that would be the Inter-County forum that I've just moved your post to . . . the one that also has a thread in it entitled Inter County Trials 2008.

Must have been a very good stag weekend :drunk::winkgrin::D

Would be great to see some Croydon faces at the trials.

The main barrier in the past has been people from these parts not thinking they are good enough, so don't bother going.
Until you try, how will you know???

It's a great honour to represent your county, and very achievable for many using this website.
Yes, the standard of county A pool is immense. It's full of Pro's and Internationals, and is different gravy.

However, the two tiers beneath that are similar to what you are already familiar with now.
In my opinion, County B is similar to division 1, and County C is similar to division 2.

It will help your game no matter what level you currently play, and even if you don't qualify, the trials themselves are a great experience.

It's 10 Sundays a year.
Home games are played at Sutton, and are played between 1:30 pm and 6 pm.
Away games do tend to turn into all dayers due to travelling, but there is only 5 of these a season.

Get Involved. . . .
