Croydon 'B' 12 Tolworth 'A' 15...

Big. to Croydon 'B' great year, considering 12 months ago it was being forecast by knowledgeable people they would not even have a team in 2007...

Agreed. Croydon B have been brilliant this year.
After a rocky start, they settled down and started getting some great scores on the board, as a result, finishing 5th.
If Surrey are allocated 5 places for Yarmouth (Which they have been in the last 2 years), it means Croydon will have two teams going to the nationals.
After the KO Cup debacle earlier this year, you could have named your odds for that happening, so hats off.

Well done to both the Croydon teams. I'll admit to having had concerns about the B team at the start of the season but I'm pleased to be proved wrong.

I had no such doubts, I saw their commitment and knew they were all decent players.

As things stand, if you played next weekend, I wouldn't be at all surprised to see the Croydon B turn the A team over.

The B are more commited, more of a team unit, and more passionate.

That is not a criticism of the A as much as it a recognition of the great season that the B have just had.

I hope we get sufficient Yarmouth places, they deserve it more than many.

Given that since last year, they have lost Jake, MickyP, Dom and Ben, they still had 9 players and two reserves last night. More than can be said for almost every team in the interleague structure.

I too hope they have done enough to go to Yarmouth.

I was simply concerned as at one point it looked like noone was going to submit their entry - that didn't bode well for the season.

I'm really pleased for them and hope they get to Yarmouth.

Well done to the Bs as Sass said things didnt look good at the start when there was nearly no Croydon B only just managed to get it all sorted in time, I was at Rileys with my brother last night, whilst I didnt see many of the games, seems though Croydon led Tolworth for most of the match which will stand them in good sted for Yarmouth, hope they get a spot
