**UPDATE** - Due to the early interest in this event there is a possibility that the competition will be limited to 32 entries. This will enable the frame distance to be maintained as previously advertised and allow the competition to run to a suitable timeframe.

In the event of more than 32 teams registering their interest, it will be the first 32 paid entries that will play on the day. We will of course continue to put names on the list while places exist.

Payment can be passed on to either Hannah @ Rileys or Steve Field to secure your place in the competition.

Once all 32 are paid up can I assume the draw will take place in advance and we can have a staggered start?

You know I don't like to drink before 2pm...

Assuming we have 32 places paid up before the day we will be limiting the competition to those entries and doing the draw in advance. A further announcement regarding this will be made shortly.

Should this happen, there won't be the need for staggered start times as we will have all 16 tables available and will be able to get all matches on at 1pm. This is another reason for potentially limiting the competition as it allows us to play matches to the longer distance whilst having all first round matches start at the same time.

**UPDATE** - Due to the continued interest in the competition we can confirm that the competition is going to be limited to the first 32 paid entries, ensuring that the competition runs smoothly whilst maintaining the previously advertised match distances.

At time of writing there are 10 places remaining so please ensure that if not already done so, payment is made at the earliest opportunity to avoid missing out.

As before we will continue to take names for this competition while spaces exist.
