Thread subject: CroydonPool.com - The CDPL Online Community :: Site Etiquette & Moderation

It's no secret that the tone on the website has lowered somewhat lately and I am sure we all agree that not only does it look bad but it's also endangering all the hard work we have put into the site since it's relaunch . .

The site is billed as the 'Online Community' for the CDPL and in the large part it's a meeting place to not only discuss what's happening in the world of pool in Croydon but to also have a laugh and a bit of banter . .

In an effort to make this happen, Paul 'TheSaxtonator' Saxton has been appointed as Site Moderator with immediate effect. Part of Paul's remit will be to monitor activity in the forums and where appropriate, take the necessary measures to keep this one of the best local league sites in the UK . . This will include editing and deleting posts that are deemed to not conform to the overall aim of the site . .

This isn't aimed at any one person/site user but just as a general reminder that we should all be pulling together and not using the site as a platform for hatred or malice . .

If anyone wishes to discuss the situation, please feel free to PM me via http://www.croydo...msg_send=1
