I was never a fan of Hendry but I don't think there is any argument that he was the best of all time. Davis took the game to a new level and then Hendry took it even higher. As Spud says he was the first player to smash the reds all over the table at the first opportunity, knowing that he would clear the table. But what really set him apart was his ability under pressure. He always seemed to play his best at the most crucial time.
