So sorry to see the enigmatic Bunter leave our team. His witty banter and rapport will be sorely missed by all who were lucky enough to meet him. Can't believe that he has decided to join the leg-ends as a suitable alternative for his ambitions to be realised. Good luck to Billy and his new team for the foreseeable future, and his next team and the one after that........

When you write breaking news it should mean a surprise - Bunter leaving a team to join another team ain't breaking news! ;)

Neil I have to admit a slight admiration for your enthusiasm, energy and team self belief it is a breath of fresh air. Your pre season signings were inspired and definitely made your team a side to be reconed with. However I have to warn you about Bunter,in 30 years of playing pool I have never come across a more selfish or disruptive player. He's undoubted talent is without question and I really do hope you can turn his attitude the right way but Billy you have had loads of chances and *******ed them all up.Please don't ******* Neil's team up.
Ps Neil I havn't played in the league for about 5 years now(not good enough) fancy a freindly ?100 game at Frames in Coulsdon?

This isn't aimed at anyone but it's funny how people hide behind there keyboards and come on here and start talking about me but when I see them face to face they act like the nicest person in the world. Everyone and myself know that some of the things I do are not the right things to do and I admit that. But in the nicest way to say this if you have got a problem with me then jog on.

What I will add mr nuttman is that I have been playing with billy for Like 3-4 years in my Wednesday team and in that time seriously never once had a problem......think a lot of people just don't now how to handle billy we all have our downfalls in life some choose to smoke drink etc billy has his but lets remember its about a pool table and ability lets remember that every 1 is being negative wen it doesn't really concern them.......

Billy time after time over the last 2 years I have told you to your face that you are wasting your undeniable talent by acting like a baby when you lose or things are not going your way, your answer is always "I don't care" hopefully you have found a proper home for yourself as Danny said he has played with you for four years. But my guess is on previous form you won't be getting a testimonial

Dear Mr. Bunter.

I sincerely wish you all the best with your new team. Sadly, in all the excitement, you failed to notify your cup singles opponent that you wouldn't be turning up to play this week, and our player took time out from his family to travel to the venue and wait for some considerable time for you before returning home, albeit grateful for the easy passage into the next round from what had promised to be a quite a tough fixture.

Unfortunately a lack of communication/consideration and observance of some sort of sporting etiquette is all too common place in this league. One of our other players experienced a 1.5 hour journey on Monday's disrupted train service to his opponent's venue, then after waiting for a previous game to finish, had to wait a further 45 minutes while his opponent left to do a 'delivery' (5 minutes he was promised it would take) and wasn't best pleased with the entire experience, complaining of a lack of heartfelt apology, let alone any offer to be gifted a win/frame for his trouble.

Perhaps we should put forward a resolution to the committee to increase the fine for non-notified no shows to compensate players as well as the league coffers, in an effort to improve courtesy standards?

Sorry mate but I did notify the person who runs my ex team to inform your player that I would not be there.give my apologies to my opponent please. Wish him luck in the next round anyway.
