During the season was approached by several individuals who expressed an interest in playing for Croydon and asked the question on why is there no trials.

We are now trialing and no interest, sods law comes to mind.....Steve it could be a no show.

All levels are welcome so let's be having you.

DAS is good yah.....;)

Or maybe it's just because people can't commit till closer to the day. I would have been interested but working on that day.

I'll be there for trials, and possibly my son too.

May be worth pasting a reminder on the home page to catch people's attention ?

Also, don't think a lot of people actually look at the site, so may be relying more on 'word of mouth' for awareness.

I suppose I have now effectively highlighted the trials on the home page ! :band:

The tried and tested route Flash, is to attend as a spectator, and more often than not at some point during the season the Team could be short.

Firstly it shows some sort of dedication to the cause, and secondly your colleagues I am sure will appreciate the support.

I am not aware of any potential wildcards for unavailabilitiy at trials, I am sure Mark could confirm this both as captain and as per the constitution.

I personally wish both teams all the best for the season.

Flash there are no wild card given to players, trials are the only way to interleague. If a place becomes available. Due to holidays or absence.
That place will be offered to players from the reserve list that attended the trials.

That list has been posted by Mark Halsey, along with the new team list.
We will hold trails again next season
If you wish to get involved.

Apologies for the unanswered post I was busy setting up the trials.

Seen the fixtures and the A's v B's is the last match of the season in November. Could be a crucial game to qualify for Yarmouth. Out of interest it seems strange we are playing each other the last game as the previous years I've been in we've played first game of season. Anyone know why this has changed?
