When: Saturday 24th January 2015

Start Time: 12:00 (Tables available from 11:30 for practice)

Entry Fee: £20 (Need the entry fee in advance as won't be accepting more than 32 runners)

Format: 8 groups of 4 (drawn on the day). Play each other for 6 frames (all 6 must be played). 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw. Top 2 go through to the last 16 which will be straight knock out from there onwards. A group winner will play a group runner up, but not the same qualifier from your group. If level on points, frame difference will determine who finishes in what position so every frame counts. The knockout stages will be 8 frames (maybe rising in semis and final depending on time) first to 5 goes through to the next round. If it goes 4-4, then there will be a black ball shoot out where you have 4 goes each. This is where you put the black on the spot and white ball anywhere behind the line. If level after 4 goes each, then it becomes a sudden death shoot out. In the sudden death shootout, the white must be placed centrally. Each knockout round is re-drawn.

Prize Money: Winner - £240, Runner Up - £120, Semi Finalists - £70, Quarter Finalists - £30

If I get the 32 runners, there will be a free to enter singles plate for the group losers with prize money available. The prize money will be £50 to the winner and £30 to the Runner Up
