After seeing this on uk8ball.com, I thought I'd see if there is any interest in the following . . (Again, copied from uk8ball)

Basically it's along the lines of a Christmas Club but with a betting twist . .
You have 8 people in the syndicate . . They pay Five Pounds per week . . That's Fourty Pounds per week in total . .

Every week, instead of banking the money, one of the eight members of the syndicate takes a turn to place bets to the value of Fourty Pounds on anything they want to that week . . It could be one bet on the horses or several smaller bets on a variety of events that make up the Fourty Pounds . .

To save time and effort, instead of people depositing their Five Pounds each week, we'll put a rota together and when it's your turn you would put up the Fourty Pounds and then have nothing to pay until it's your go again . .

Any returns are deposited into a bank account which will be set up, including the stake(s) for those bet(s) and just before Christmas the money in the account will be divvied up between the syndicate members . .

You have one week to place your bets and the bets must be on events in your week (to keep the interest constant) . . Also all bets must be published on the site, before the event takes place, with any odds taken . .

More specific rules regarding this will be published if interest is shown . .

Please beware that this is intended to be run in good faith and more importantly something to amuse ourselves with and follow together . .

The first eight people showing interest below will be accepted into the syndicate on the proviso that they are 'known' members of the site and the Croydon pool community . .
