I hear that Ian Chapman beat Rod Altes 3-0 in last night's Summer Singles Final . . Well done that man! Really pleased for ya fella . .
That means that the Hot Shots bagged the League, Singles and Doubles titles . .

On a more important (and serious) note, this match must have been good to watch.
I've never seen Rod play in a match and get totally whitewashed, so Chappers must have been playing pretty good pool, yet it's gone ahead un-noticed on a night where non-Division One Players had to play in the KO Cup.
This is just another example of why I'm going to be putting in a proposal for the Singles and Doubles finals to be played on Presentation Night to give more people the chance to watch this stuff.
I don't know how many people were there, but I doubt it was significant, which is a shame. Winning the Mens singles title isn't an easy thing.
It should be recognised with a decent audience.

I'll tell you a really easy way of working it out . . When I write it says 'Golden' just above the picture . . When she writes it says 'Lils' just above the picture :eek2:

I know that, but I rarley get time to read the posts at work, let alone look above the photos.......Go on change it. I can let you have a photo of me if you like............. On second thoughts, I'd get even more confused thinking I wrote something I hadn't.

Can you remind our listeners who won the other major competition this year, the KO Cup. I could have sworn you played in it so it must have been the Oakfield Patriots.
