There shouldn't be a major issue if it's OK to endanger the integrity of what was THE tournament for the lower echelon of the league.
The non-division one ruling was always applied for the current and previous season . . In theory Kyle could have entered this as he plays for a Division Five side in the current season.
It's just a shame that such a prestigious competition has now boiled down to bums on seats :(
