This may seem a bit strange but given the closeness of the events with xmas and new year coming and the problems we had getting everyone for the Singles, we have decided to advertise the Classic in advance of the weekend and accept payment and entry over the weekend to try and make it a little easier for everyone.

So with that said, flyers will be around over the weekend, you can pay myself, Tom, Bob Taylor or paypal at [uri href="mailto:surreyclassic@surreypool.com"]surreyclassic@surreypool.com[/uri]

What does it take to get you Croydon lot involved?

You whinge for years that there was nothing for you. Now its on your doorstep. Some of you enter, then disappear without paying so have to be removed from the list.

Those that are reliable and turn up, sorry for the rant, it obviously doesnt include you.

Look at the Singles last week. 3 of the semi finalists all croydon based.

Jan 4th is the last official date for getting your payment in. Reserve spots will start getting offered then.

County trials are on the 4th so try and make sure you pay on that day by the very latest

Dave, Marc mentioned to me earlier that the monies received should cover Justin, himself (Marc Mortlock) and Martin Jones.

Additonally as Daniel Flemming hasn't responded and is unlikely to participate, pls remove him from the reserve list.

Hannah, just spoke to Marc and it appears he posted a cheque to purley way (with your name as contact receipient), with his contact details on the back for confirmation. hopefully this should be received tomorrow

Hi Craig

We do not accept cheques, Hannah doesnt really want to be cashing cheques. As there was no sign of a cheque they were taken off the list and replaced with people who had already paid. If they want to turn up on the day they may get in as a reserve.

There has been nearly 2 months to get money to us/hannah and we cant hang around forever.
