Porky, I appreciate your comments in the post and you can be rest assured that this will never be happening again. In all major comps that I have participated at weekend events over the years and indeed the the 4 day event that I staged at the Holiday Inn in Croydon back in 1989 & 1992 Plate comps ran adjacently in numbers to the main comp. The probs I faced is the difference of numbers entered by 1st Div & others. It is going to pan out after these current rounds have been played but nevertheless the 1st rounds should normally sort out the figures for a 256,128,64,32,16,8,4,2 running in the 2nd and from thereonin. As I have said previously on a previous post, I will be advocating that all players are entered into the 1st round (Div.1 players not playing each other) and then both comps will run smoothly and adjacent to each other.
