D.O.G 3-7 The Seamen

We're on a roll!!!!! Best league win for 2 years, 2nd league win on the bounce, and 3rd win on the bounce in all comps!!!!

To be fair there was good, bad, and just plain lucky pool on show tonight....from both teams....

On a different note, our team were unanimous in their appreciation of the food served...very good!!

Looking forward to the return!!!

Oh the Oakie Cokies 4-6 The Folly

A sensational result for us as we were 4-0 down at one point. The boys really dug in against arguably the best side in the division. applause

The Oakies are still in the driving seat to win the Div 3 title but this was a real boost for our runners-up chances. Cheers to the Oakies for an enjoyable night. See you at ours later in the season.

Langley 8 - Dukes 2. Fair result, well played to Tony and his guys, we were awful even without the rolls on the table.

We only had 4 players, and our 2 points came from Jay Shah - Martin, the Ban-man and myself were abysmal. To play that badly, as did the 'Pool against Wolves, come home and find out I've drawn Kyle in the singles just made for a bad night's sleep...Grin

Good luck to the Langley boys, see you at the return

SHIP 7 BEECHTREE3

another win for us to keep us in 2nd, 3-2 up after 1st 5 but pushed on in 2nd half (me the only 1 losin out of the 5). Well played to waynie + simon with 2/2 for both. think the beechtree had a bit of bad luck in a couple of frames and would have been good value for a draw. Good luck for the rest of the season and see u all at yours in the return game.
I definitely agree with andy that the oakies are still firmly in the driving seat for the title but its a close fought thing for runners up + I dont think the winners trophy is out of reach for atleast 3 teams just yet
