Dan you better let Darren know sooner rather later as he travels from East London and probably won't be to happy with a wasted journey from that distance.

In the Prem Francois beat Mark 10-2, Martin beat Harry 10-2, Hughie v Lee was called off as Lee was involved in a car crash and bashed his arm. The only result I know in the 1st is Dan & Darren drawing 6 all. I think Luke smashed up Shane but I'm not sure what the score was.

I would love to say I enjoyed the match, but I didn't.
I'm not taking anything away from Martin, he played very well. but I played crap!

I have decided I am never going to drive to a pool match again. I don't care if I stink of alcohol the following day, and breathe it all over my clients!!!!!

Maybe it was just me, but the whole venue seemed a little flat last night. It obviously doesn't help to have three premier matches postponed.

Maybe it will be in Div 1 where all the fun will be had. It's developing into a close battle between Luke, me, Charles and Lloyd. I do believe Charles and Luke play each other next week too! bouncing

Welcome to my world Harry. I played Hughie my 2nd day on the wagon and was lucky to get 3 frames! Even after 2 weeks I was still so edgy last night I went 2 1 down against Mark, and he'll be the first to admit he's playing some terrible pool at the moment.

All is not lost though. I believe that the alcohol fueled confidence can be replaced by better attention and focus, ...eventually rolling eyes

Exactly right, Fran. Don't know what's gone wrong at the moment but I had plenty of chances to rack up a respectable score against you, as well as with Harry the week before, but failed to finish up where it mattered, often missing stupidly simple finishes, which you can't afford to do against quality players (or Harry Wink).
Hopefully something will click back into place and I can prove my worth. At the moment, it's hard to imagine how I finished 2nd in Div1 last season. Oh well, time will tell and hopefully I can stop being the Premier Division's whipping boy soon.

Yeah, cheers mate. Mind you, we play on the last fixture of the season so hopefully I'll have my game back by then and we'll see who's the bitch for that game at least..
