what a great exhibition of football from barcelona last night! brought a new meaning to the word total football! really cant belive the goons are still in the tie after being so comprehensively outplayed, outclassed and out fought by a far superior team! credit to them tho for the fight back buts its hard to see them getting a result at the camp nou from what i saw last night.
we may need a bigger boat..! |

Cracking game, I couldn't tell you the last time I sat through a whole match that didn't involve my team or wasn't an important England game, can't wait for the return next week.

I'm sure you could hazard a guess, Pondlife.
All credit to Arsenal for sticking in and getting a draw, but they were chasing shadows for the first 20. |

He's very fortunate if he is a yid. It never affects your pool participation, as they only ever play on weekends !! |

pondlife my deluded froggy friend! i think you only have to look at the stats of the game to see how dominant the barcelona team was to the goons! maybe you have the same problem as your manager? that being you just dont see things that are staring you in the face!..??? the goons were completely outclassed and were fortunate to still be even in this tie! mmm and when a team has not won anything for 5 seasons your being a bit over optimistic calling them one of the best in the world.???? ps the quote of the night being that fabio capello had to wait 70 minutes to see an englishman in action? ha ha

Jealousy is one of the seven deadly sins !! I find it very sad that all yid supporters are so resentful of the mighty Arsenal ! I think that it's highly likely that your current "wonderful" season will finish with another scintillating entry into the Europa Cup . Financially,we are the 5th largest football club in the world. Blow your nose and show some respect !! |

Im really looking forward to watching tonights game. A massive uphill struggle but not impossible, but im sure theyll be looking for revenge since the champions league final!
Re, the above Just my own personal view of course, obviously i support my team in the Premier League but would support ANY english team in Europe, even Tottenham. But i cant see myself worrying about that lol

mmmm jealousy and resentful???? never! if you actually read my post froggy you will see that i merely commented on the game itself! i also credited the goons for there fight back to salvage an unlikely draw! backing up what the stats said i think hardly anyone can argue who was the superior team on the night and who played the better football!
i shall enjoy watching the match tonight and if the goons pull off an unlikely win i will be the first to acknowledge a truly great achievement!
oh and mr porter either way we shall be in europe nxt season even if its the tin pot europa league

well i gotta say froggy what an amazing exhibition of football tonight from the arsenal! they had barcelona on there knees and chasing shadows through out! never have i heard the nou camp be so quite as they witnessed an exhibition of slick passing football from one of the best teams in the world!(quote) mmm guess all that was missing was a reverse score line!

Amazing this thread has gone quiet.
Lets see Man Utd 3-0 up at home to a mediocre German side and still go out. No comments or new thread posted.
Spurs lose to a team that has just about enough players to make a team who are way down the bottom of the league. Players of the quality of Piquonne and Dindane running rings round them. Still no thread.

yes 2 very suprising results that not many would have predicted! when uts went 3-0 that pretty much seemed all over but with bayern scoring then utd goin down to 10 men you always felt it could happen! no douby utd are a team in decline with an aging midfield and with the exception of rooney no real striking options! berbatov looks totally inept of doin the job of scoring goals n with owen passed his best many players will be needed this summer to strenthten the team!
credit to portsmouth they set out a game plan and executed it to perfection! spurs had there chances but didnt take them plus they never seemed to get there quick passing game together to trouble there defence
pitch was a disgrace tho!

Changing this topic completely from anything to do with football- How sad to see the yids totally outclassed by a poverty-stricken club that has about 15 players to call on !! Sad but hilarious !! Where to next ?? |
