Better halves 5.6 Prop ....awful result for us after bein 5.1 up...yet again we showed how poor we r at finishing the job,giving away many frames n avin a few bad rubs ov the green...fair play to our opponents the never stop battling...beginning to think prop won't win the league now as to many players thinking there better than they r n not delivering the goods...wer so good at throwing frames away we mite even struggle to win all 11 on our bye week  |

We allegedley pinched a decider...
I cannot confirm nor deny this though, as I had a session that would have made George Best applaud, and had to go home early to seek refuge in my bed.

We pulled our socks up..... We stood up tall that's what it's all about got of to a shocker 6-1 down then turned that gear stick up and began to play well we cudda half inched it as well!!!! Oh well win sum lose sum league still close we still level with prop Eden have to come to us and that ain't easy for mr bunter n his crew........ Us to win league deffo welcome bk to Rambo well funny wot you did buddy!!!!

To be fair all we have to do us win our games and we more or less did that first half other than 2 6-5 defeats from you lot n Eden this time we beating them trust me. Rumour has it they had a 2 nil head start n only won 7-4 @ home not great is it........ We gonna win league as you quoted you can't finish empty plates at the mo...... Well u more or less said that lol. Better halfs gonna do the bizola boooooooooooooooom Looking good semis of k/o an all maybe do the double

That's a couple of times I have left while we was losing big but only for the team to turn the deficit around.
I must be bad luck loooooool!!!
Pretty close for league, looking forward to the winter already!

I do love it how these teams that have only been about for a few season in the league go on how good they are just because they may have finished in the top few places for a couple of seasons!!
You never hear from the likes of The Eagles, Prop (excl Jacko  even though he is entitled too) come on here saying how good they are and a life story about how unlucky or good their team played.
Perhaps when you have been playing 25+ years in the league and have a massive trophy collection you would then be entitled to be gloat.
Until then keep dreaming, maybe one day you will be entitled to a 'legend' status and not a 'leg end' one!  |

My point is you cant say how good a team or player is in the Croydon league until you have won trophies for many years.
Simples....
Sure there are many other very high standards of leagues in and around London but this is a croydon pool website.
Hence, wait maybe another 25+ years before reposting 
However, i must admit that the banter on the site between your team and the others is high in entertainment value.. |

The rumour is indeed ture we lost 6.5 and boy what a tough night , melting in the heat , the white was like playing with a bag of cement!! highlight of the evening for me was bouncing Sean Kelly up and down on my knee!!! Lol don't think he will remember tho! must be very very tight at the top now , hopefully have Gary for the cup semi which is massive for us, going to be close for the leauge no doudt myself and John going for 3 summer titles in a row!! Fingers crossed |

You may find Mr Ramsay that the champions of champions is not a croydon trophy but being new to the league you may not have known that.
