Not sure if anyone on the site are massive Rugby fans but thought I'd post about the selection made for the Lions Tour as i'll be taking 18 days off from summer league to travel to SA.

I'm pleased with overall selection and also good to see so many fellow welsh players in the squad.

I know their is an abundance of choice at full back this year, but still a bit suprised he disn't pick Armitage, who along with Worsley seemed to be Englands best players this summer.

Finally someone who supports the best sport in the world. Obviously, as I am from Cape Town in SA, I'm as big a rugby supporter as they come!!

I agree with you - very solid Lions squad (we always knew that it would consist of mostly Welsh and Irish players as England isn't really on par at the moment).

I'm not sure when the Bok squad will be announced, but I'm sure that we'll be in for a treat - 3 massive tests to come!!!

Enjoy your trip out to SA - I'm sure that you will like Cape Town best. Newlands is probably one of the most beautiful stadiums you'll ever visit.
