That's right - you CAN'T call a foul if you can't see it. If he played the ball with screw from 10 inches away, the intention was not to play the white ball through, so the right call (i.e. NO foul call) was the right one.

jon and the rest of my team were all convinced that it was a foul.

You said it was impossible to see if the cueball had been struck twice because it went forward 'at 100mph'. Therefore they couldn't be convinced; it was simply their opinion.

i just know that if the player had been me and i thought that i had hit cueball twice i would have called foul on myself

You said you asked Mark if he thought he hit the cueball twice and he said no. Why would he call a foul on himself if he doesn't think he fouled?

Regards,

Confused of Ewell.

You don't have a clue as you weren't there and even if you were there you still wouldn't have a clue as you're female . .

How did Saxton get on in the big match last night as there's been no mention on or by him yet?

So even after he pretty much single-handedly kept you in the KO Cup last week he was still dropped?

I was surprised Paul did not play last night as we expected to see him in the line up. I rate him above the likes of Matt Ansell and Dippy Patel, though Matt played superb last night and on that basis deserved to start. Tactically it was a game for the Saxonator and I think Berty made a mistake with his team selection.

So if you think that Paul is better than Matt and Dippy and that Berty got his selection wrong would you have replaced Paul with one of those two?? As they both won i dont think that there is an argument... end of!!wall

Yep they both won, but thats not my point. I still rate Saxton above either of them. Tactically as a team you came unstuck last night, James and Luke both outplayed.

Plus if I am brutally honest, I have never seen you Mr Spry hang around and support your team in the 5 fixtures we have had, so on that basis I would not pick you infront of someone who supports his team mates albeit from the sidelines.

You cannot criticise my decision making based on the fact that potentially two people who paul would have replaced both Won. You are talking nonsense.

Paul is improving of that there is no doubt, However this season Dippy has won 4 out of 5 league games now and matt A is 2 out of 2 league games. End of conversation.

My only criticism of Paul which I have told him is that he plays every game as if he is playing andy breen as he is so used to playing with that calibre of player but sometimes the more simple percentage shot is the one to play rather than a df for example

I remember when paul first came down the elmer he didn't beat any of us for about a year and now he gives as good as he gets.

you are right Alex, i do not normally hang around but over the last 4 years i have had to get up at 5am, and as it has not been an issue with my team mates you can go poke it up your backside.. And also for your information i did mention to truey even before he broke that i had to leave immediately afterwards.

So in hindsight Luke and I were 'outplayed' but would have started, but you may have selected Paul in front of Dips and Mat, of whom Mat by your own admission was excellent in victory and Dippy also won. You would drop Rob Spry who is a minumum 65% + number one who gets on well with all the team but needs to leave early because traditionally he has an early start for work in the morning,

Jesus, I'm glad you don't pick the team. Wink

some people have to get home alex after getting up at stupid hours to start work.

Anyway I cant believe I am having this conversation with you.....

It would have been interesting to see who you would have dropped last night if you had more than 7 but you didn't so that is a non starter.

Taking team advice from a team that has had more superstars come and go than a blockbuster movie is a bit of a joke. Shall I start a list?

Our team has barely changed in the years we have been going based on the fact we bring people in who we know will improve the team dynamic and contribute to the "Team" the only people we have parted company with in the past have been players who were not quite making the grade or those who were probably more than good enough but too unreliable.

Rob S needs to leave early but he made near as damn it every game last season and this one to date when it has not been easy for him to get here for one reason or another so I will atke that commitment thank you very much.

The eden have historically tried to sign the big boys regardless of reliability and then have ditched their enthusiastic players who have needed work and support.

I just hope Barry makes the grade otherwise the Eden will be quick to get on his back and he will start to feel real pressure from them if he starts to lose more than he wins..

I get up at 6am, and don't get back home until 1.30am every Tuesday night. Arthur in my team gets up at 3am and never goes to sleep. Scott gets up at 5am, Truey is a broker in the City and is in at 4.30am. But they all hang around each week and cheer on their team mates.

So poke that right up your selfish ass. ner ner
