Thursday sees the penultimate night of the CSL fixture calendar, with the following events:

Both these events start from 8.00pm. If you intend to be there but are running late etc, let me know so I can arrange the matches accordingly. Also, if you know now if you will/won't be there, let me know on here, so I can get an idea of numbers

PLATE
This is open to all players who finished 'out of the money', with final placings from 5-10 in each division. The competition is included in the fees you've already paid and there are cash prizes from Semis onwards, plus a nice shiny plate for the winner. Plus, it's not seeded, so there won't be any complaints about negative starts etc.
So, don't mope that you didn't win cash in the League, here's your chance for another bite at the proverbial cherry.

WINNERS' CASH KO COMPETITION
As with last season, this is for all those who finished 'in the money', with final placings from 1-4.
This is an independent KO competition, aside from the main league, so you get a chance to put some of your winnings on the line in a potential 12-man KO comp. Prizes obviously depend on the agreed entry fee, which will be decided by the participants on the night.

So, the league may be over but there's still cash to be won!
Hope to see you all there.

Presentation is next week, but you can still come and gamble some of it, seeing as you know you've got a few quid coming your way.

I'll be there Mark, even though I don't know which comp I'll be playing in yet. I know which one is more likely, and at least it is the free one! Wink

Well done to Lloyd for smashing me up in round 1, shame I couldn't stay for long - I was feeling awful.

So what were the results in the end then?

I believe the main comp was won by Knocky (I may be wrong)

The plate was unfinished with the following final due to take place this Thursday:

Tom Telford V Steve Aldridge (pupil v teacher - great end to the season)

The intention was to have best of 9 for the final, so should be a good match.

...and before anyone asks, no, there isn't a handicap system in the Plate.
