Thicket Tavern 6-4 The Wandering Dogs
Some very good games last night and a great result for The Thicket lads. We led 3-2 at the half-way stage and went into the last game with a 5-4 lead. Our hero, 'Lucky Mick', sealed the win with an outrageous bit of fortune on the black - it probably came off all 4 cushions and looped the loop before finding the pocket but they all count, eh, Mick??!!
Defo a "Shot Mick thank you lads" moment........... 
Nice bunch of guys in the Wandering Dogs team and the match was played in the right spirit and with good humour. Good luck and we'll see you for the return at yours in April. |

Haha! Nice one, Beardy, I think you're right. I'd advise you all to drink less in the 2nd half but, as that's what enabled us to get a draw with you, I'm saying nowt! |

steve am sure i will make up for you missing me on home soil... sad thing about this match is i was told at late notice, players couldnt make it so 3 players as the rule states had no choice but to turn up ... i understand that teams will not prospone games on such short notice, i would as i would rather play a full team but winning this league is more important to certain team not naming.. so we look forward to the re-match good luck guys i think u no u have had a lucky escape
am not sticking my acheivements down the list is too long lmao  |
