Flying Machine 6 - 4 Beechtree

Well fought game this turned out to be, 3-2 down @ the Break, could have been 3-2 to us, 4-1 either way, found ourselves 6-2 down after 8, but brought back the final 2 to give the score a more realistic result given the closley fought nature of the games. Mention to MJ for a 2/2.

Well played the Machineclapping and was a cracking atmosphere over in Biggin Hill last night (am assuming a Danny Butterfield hat-trick had summit to do with it eh Dogger Shock )

Good luck for the remainder of the season ladshandshake

For the food enthusiasts amongst us, cracking spread (bowl of chilli con carne, bowl of a georgeous stew, bread to mix and extra sarnies - nice)Grin

Jolly A 5 - Goodfella's

As i said to Mark last night, not sure how to sum up game. Very strange with whites flying into pockets, bad decisions on shots, disappointing misses from players who should know better and a few bits of decent pool somewhere inbetween. Good laugh though. We were 3-2 up, but 2 good frames at the end got us back from 5-3 down. Results see's us firmly out of the running now in Group 6. Little mention to Jamie Pickford
for winning frame 9 - well done mate!!
Well played to the Fellas, glad you enjoyed the food too
handshake good luck for the remainder of the season.
We will supply sleeping bags next time - 9 frames took a little over 70 mins, 1 took over 45 mins on its own before i nearly gave up the will to live (and i was only reffing)without a safety being played. sigh

Cheers Outlaw, was a good game last night, really enjoyed it. 6-4 was a good reflection of the match, although 5-5 or 6-4 reversed would of been just as fair.

yes, the football was rather good I must say. Grin

good luck to you, I think we'll see you in the summer.

table:
Goodfellas 47
Flying Machine 43
The Jolly 'A' 41
Rileys Snooker 29 ?
Farley Small Pots 31
Beechtree 28
The B Busters 11 ?
BYE

Sailor don't count yourselves out just yet!

Assuming Rileys snooker got a 10-0 against the b busters last night, plus their 10-0 BYE in the final week leaves them finishing on 49. Which would mean you would need 9-1 against small pots to finish above them.
We need to beat goodfellas 6-4, to leave us on level points with rileys, finishing above as we beat them (is that correct?), or a 7-3 to draw with goodfellas on 50 points, finishing above as we would have beaten them.
But if you win 9-1, you'd finish on 50, and you would be above us as you beat us.

So yeah... lol... don't count yourselves out yet!
