pond 8 - 2 flying machine.

we were dog s*it. pond played well, takin all their chances, with some good finishes, but nothing seemed to go our way. we were 2-1 up, then lost the rest. lovely. non of us seemed to actually care which wasnt ideal, we were going to giv the last 2 games to them so we could go early but people still had beer left Pfft

seriously tho, pond played well, we didnt. totally fair score line. see you at the end of the season.

Very enjoyable evening against our opponents who certainly weren't Flying last night !! We lost two out of the first three frames. This was due to the fact that Manchester City scored a very fortuitous early penalty which meant that the ?1 a pint deal finished for the evening. Most of our team were traumatised by this callous action by the Rileys management. However, once we'd come to terms with it,we decided to concentrate on the pool and reeled off the last seven frames. Looking forward to the return fixture. I've already booked the coach. We're going to make a day of it !! Good luck to the Machine for the remainder of the season !! applause
