Some very good games made for an entertaining evening with a good bunch of lads from The Oak. We finished the first half 2-3 down but then fought back well in the second half, winning frames 6/7/8, to take a 5-3 lead. The Oak took frame 9 to make it 5-4 and then 'slow-hand' Eddie won the last game for a nail-biting finish and a 6-4 win for the home team.
Well done to Mick for a 2/2 performance - you fully justified my choice of giving you frames 5 & 6 - you'd had just enough of the sauce to enhance your game!
The manor 2-8 untouchables..
Great game last night score line is probley right result as we were gifted 2 frames.... Harry the houdini potter was class for the manor slapped mr Westbrook up.. The manor I think are a good enough team 2 put there a team touch of glass to shame, roll on next week good luck u old goats for the remainder of the season ;-)
