This week is the Plate Event, a straight knockout for all those who didn't finish in the money spots (the bottom 6 from each division). There's cash to be won (as well as the obvious 'Plate' itself). There's no extra cost for entry to the Plate, so you have nothing to lose.
Runners:
PREM 5 Mark Miller
PREM 6 Charles Burrows
PREM 7 Mark Vincent
PREM 8 Lloyd Barnes
PREM 9 Luke Willsher
PREM 10 Dave 'Truant'
DIV ONE 5 Marc Rowson
DIV ONE 6 John Hoy (unable to attend)
DIV ONE 7 Jon Prothero
DIV ONE 8 Martin Duncan
DIV ONE 9 Paul Saxton
DIV ONE 10 BYE
DIV TWO 5 Steve Pantony
DIV TWO 6 Michael Hakow
DIV TWO 7 Edita Tuckova
DIV TWO 8 Scott Slattery
DIV TWO 9 Mark Stallard
DIV TWO 10 Danny Wordley
Also, as with previous seasons, the winners can enter their own Cash KO Comp. Entry fee is agreed on the night (usually ?5 each)
PREM 1 Kyle Pickett
PREM 2 Paul Wildman (unable to attend)
PREM 3 Hugh Telford
PREM 4 Chris Knock
DIV ONE 1 Steve Aldridge
DIV ONE 2 Peter Knight
DIV ONE 3 Mick Huggins
DIV ONE 4 Paul Da Silveira
DIV TWO 1 Tom Telford
DIV TWO 2 Dan Reeks (unable to attend)
DIV TWO 3 Halil Nedim
DIV TWO 4 Shane St.Romaine
Let me know if you can/can't make it, just so I have an idea of numbers.
Hope to see you all there!

I think BYE vs Mark Stallard would be to close to call if they are drawn against each other. |

I'd probably struggle against BYE the way I played on Tuesday. |

Mark, for the plate, will there be any handicap between Premier players and the other two Division players like when you did for the KO Main + KO Plate. Start 8pm? |

I'm 99.9% sure there are no handicaps in this comp, but I'm sure Mark will clarify.
I know it definately starts at 8pm though.

Spot on, Luke.
The Plate is a straight knockout, so there's no handicap system in place for tonight. It's short distance matches though, so there are still plenty of chances of us little-leaguers beating players who could otherwise wipe the floor with us in a full 12 frame match. Don't let the big boys scare you, Michael, remember they are the bottom 6 from their division too and everyone is beatable over short-range. |
