Penge Cons 4-6 Thicket Tavern

A close match last night with the guys from PCC, played with good spirit and humour. Some of the action was almost as compelling to watch as Messi's demolition of Arsenal!

Well done to Lee for producing a cool finish in his game and to Mark 'finesse' Anderton for clinching a 4-6 victory in the final frame.

Not a bad result as we only turned up with 4 players. Good night with the lads at the Forum and good luck for the rest of the season.

The oak 4-6 untouchables
we had a great start taking the first set 4-1,with a little luck mistakes made by the oak... 2nd set we were poor we had finishes on the black, and missed badly frame of the match had to go to jan... Under pressure drops a dead ball down the rail with the black over the hole if he had missed it could of ended up a draw, I have to say tho the stop watch should have come out, some of the oaks players were taking 2 mins plus a shoot, we didn't bother moaning, no point, as the season comes to a close, and the table was poor... I thought the Stelfs had the worse table but I think there on even parr with the oak,

Dotcom also failed to mention my awesome clearance on first game and getting 2/2, I think I'm the only person with a 2/2 last night.

Stelfs 5 - 5 view a
Crunch fixture for us but a storming start by the stelfs saw them race into a 5-2 lead. It's not like anyone from us played badly either a few really tight missed blacks and stelfs were all over us. We really had to dig deep and play well to get the draw which sums up the league this year. I must say having played the croydon open for the first time and witnessing the league cup I think there really are some quality sides and players in this league that would grace one or two or three leagues above. It's Made for an exciting run in for 2nd now. Good luck to the stelfs for the rest of the season a really nice bunch of lads.
