Waddon Misfits 0 - 10 Farley Small Potatoes

A fantastic way for us to finish the season tonight. We knew that we needed a good result to try and retain 3rd place as we have got byes for the last 3 matches, but didn't expect to get the result we did.

To be honest the Misfits were very unlucky on a couple of frames with their players playing the black only to leave it sitting over the pocket so perhaps 8-2 would have been a fairer result.

Did think that Spencer was going to 7 ball his opponent in the second set but an unfortunate in-off from his last yellow allowed the Misfits player to approach the table. A lovely clearance followed leaving only the black. A couple of visits from each player both fighting for the winning shot ended with Spencer winning the frame .

Well done to John, James, Chas and Spencer for their 2/2's

Good luck to the Misfits for the rest of the season, look forward to playing you all again later in the year

Lord Napier 5 - 5 The Earl of Eldon

A bitter and slow start for the Napier going 4-1 down in the first set, However we had three frames only to play the Black ball which on each occasion just didn't go, leaving it over the pocket Angry but then McDill done the deed to start the turn-a-round in what we needed and gave us a second frame in what brought us back to life and ended up winning the 2nd set 4-1 to bring a final result of 5-5!

Great bunch of guys and wishing you all the best for the season for the last few weeks of the season.

Supersav applause
