Flying machine vs pond (played last week, kept quiet to not give anyone an advantage knowing what they might need....)

Goodfellas 5 - Rileys Snooker 5

As always, a very enjoyable match with the Lewisham lads. Must be said, we had so much luck in the first half it was outrageous going 3-2 up when it probably should have been a whitewash to them. Some very nice play to come back and even up the scoreline.

Congratulations on the promotion and best of luck in Division One.

well us both holding them to a draw puts pond and rileys on joint points of 129. Is it head to head or number of wins to see who finishes second?

Flying Machine 5 Pond Wheatsheaf 5 The lessening activity of the Icelandic volcano gave us the opportunity to fly into Biggin Hill and play this game last week. Thanks to everybody who kept the result secret until now. It meant that we could watch our fellow tenants snatch the draw against Rileys Snooker which gave us 2nd place by virtue of one less defeat ! Always a pleasure to play the lads from the airport ! See you again soon no doubt ! Thanks to the Goodfellas team who put up a sterling performance to snatch the draw which proved to be so beneficial to us ! Good luck to all for the forthcoming summer season !! applause

Can I just say massive congratulations to Lee for finishing as No.1 ranked player in Croydon. That's gotta be a first for a non div 1 player to win it?

Thank you Dogger, that would be Lee Manister of 'The Farley Loyalists'. Very well done Lee, great achievment in just 2 seasons in our league.

Our result by the way was honours shared at 5 all.

Well done to the Rack, good luck in div one, I can see with the squad they have a few apple-carts being upset.

A big thanks to all the div 2 teams this season that have made 'The Farley Loyalists' always welcome, I can not remember such a fun season for a very long time.

Regards
Paul Picton (Farley Loyalist)
