Seamen 3-7 Magnum force

Magnum will be a force to be reckoned with this season...I wouldn't be surprised if they have a magnum to celebrate a trophy with....

They turned up with 10 players...most of whom are well known within the league...so there is no bleating about the scoreline...we were unlucky in a couple, but a draw would have been at least a slight injustice to the magnum boys...they probably feel hard done by for the ones they lostlaughing...especially miq....laughing...oh...and brian woods....laughing

Beechtree Revolution 6 - 4 The Lodgers

Always a good laugh with the Lodgers team, always plenty of banter and last night was no exception. Lodgers probably did enough to warrant a draw, but we're happy the Revolution kicked off with a win in the first league game this season Grin

Could have been 3-0 down, but at the end of the first five we were 3-2 up, went 3-3 and 3-4 but we run out the last 3 for the win. Mentions to Rave and Me for 2/2 Cool

Cheers to Paul and the rest of the Lodgers team for a good laugh, catch you at your venue later in the season handshake

A view to a kill 6-4 farley dukes

Captain meercat was away on England duty last night so it was left to the rest of us to open up the league. Some very poor finishing by us in the first set meant the Dukes took a 3-2 lead in at half time. We battled to take the 2nd set 4-1 but still the dukes 1 was a frame that probably we should of won. We can't grumble to much at a win and it was a really good night with the boys from the Farley lots of banter. Looking forward to the return later in the season.

Maple tree 6 vs 4 the untouchables
some close games lastnight.
Couple of games could have gone either
way.
But a good win and a good start to the
season.
Good luck for the rest of the season.

Beardy, well won last night, probably should have been a bigger win for you. In the first half 2 of the 3 games that went our way were due to misses from your chaps that 99/100 times they would have finished with their eyes shut. 2nd half, agree with you, the guy I played had a real chance to break/dish, so I was greatful for the chance to turn it around. Poor show from our guys, we will have to do better if we are to avoid a relegation battle. Look forward to the return mate, cheers for a good night and good food.
